The radar course is one of the RYA's specialist one-day courses. In order to teach it you must qualify as an RYA radar instructor.
The instructor course is a single day and is organised centrally by the RYA. Course dates and venues can be downloaded via the link above.
Potential instructors must be experienced in the use of small marine radar and their knowledge should be well in excess of the RYA's radar course.
