There are three ways to book an exam:
1 Use the ‘online booking’ link below;
2 Contact your nearest RYA Exam Centre, using the link above, or;
3 If you are taking an RYA training course prior to your exam, ask your training centre to book the exam for you.
There is a full list of requirements for candidates and the boats used in the ‘exam requirements’ section on the left. Please read this carefully before booking your exam.
Exams outside the UK
Exams outside the UK must be organised through an RYA training centre recognised for practical cruising courses or advanced powerboat courses (as appropriate). The centre must notify the RYA of any exams outside the UK and the location must be approved by the RYA.
