Using our logo as a graphical link
We sometimes allow sites to link to us using the RYA logo, but only withour permission. If you wish to do so, please see the guidelines below and request permission from the
RYA Web Editor, providing brief details of your site and whereon it you propose to provide the linking logo.

Only use this logo as a hyperlink to rya.org.uk where it is clear that it is a link to an external site, rather than a part of your own site identity. Do not use the RYA logo to state or imply a relationship with us that does not exist, especially where it could be taken to be an RYA recommendation of goods or services on offer.
An example of incorrect use would be to feature the logo in a section that would appear to be site partners/ sponsors.
Another example of incorrect use is putting the logo large and prominently on your homepage with no text explanation perhaps causing confusion with RYA sites.
An example of correct use would be to place the logo, with others on a page clearly labelled as external links.
We do not permit the use of the logo without it linking to the RYA site.
RYA Training Centres
Only RYA Training Centres may use the RYA Tickmark logo (below) as a link through to our website. Please download and read the
terms and conditions of use before doing so.

Link Maintenance
The RYA is not responsible for broken links produced on your site as a result of our moving or deleting pages on our site.
Clarity
If you do decide to link to this website, please make your visitors aware that they are leaving your site. This can be done by avoiding all of the following practices:
- Linking directly to images or other rich content
- Framing our site within yours so our web address is not evident
- Using client-side script to spawn a "chromeless" or other adapted pop-up window with our site inside
- Using script to include part of our content within another page
- Placing images served from www.rya.org.uk directly within your site
Link Exchanges
The RYAdoes not currently offer a 'link exchange' or 'reciprocal links' facility, nor does it provide a list of external links to site visitors. Please feel free to email TheRYAWeb Editor (above)with any enquiries: your proposal will be considered should we decide to offer external links at some point in the future.
Please be aware that we only usually link to third party sites where the site linked to is non-commercial and offers aditional information of undisputable value and relevance to our users.
If you are a third party commercial site, perhaps your requirements could be better served byadvertising on this website? (see links above).
